FECHAS DEL VIAJE
Del 17 al 21 de abril del 2014.

ITINERARIO

Día 1. Llegada a UYUNI

Las movilidades partirán desde la ciudad de La Paz rumbo a Uyuni, donde podremos detenernos a fotografiar los diferentes paisajes altiplánicos. Al finalizar la tarde llegaremos a la ciudad de Uyuni, donde nos reuniremos con los demás participantes que lleguen de otras ciudades para conocernos y completar los preparativos del viaje. Reparto de documentación y charla fotográfica. Pernoctamos y cenamos en Hotel Samay Wasi.

* Los participantes que lleguen vía aérea o terrestre desde otras ciudades podrá tomarse la tarde libre para pasear por los alrededores de Uyuni o descansar en el Hotel Samay Wasi.

Día 2. Partimos rumbo al Salar de Uyuni

5:00 Antes del amanecer partiremos hacia el Salar por Colchani, donde podremos fotografiar los monto de sal apiladas por los pobladores, montículos redondos, que cuando sopla el viento los cristales de sal forman pirámides perfectas. Un gran motivo para nuestra cámara, podremos trabajar con a luz antes del amanecer, que es cuando se van las sombras y podemos obtener colores más profundos, y capturar la naturaleza abstracta de esos paisajes.

7:00 Breakfast box / salimos rumbo a la Isla de Incahusi.

9:00 Recorremos la Isla Incahuasi, formada de roca volcánica y cactus gigantes donde podremos fotografiar la inmensa llanura blanca de sal.

10:00 Luego nos dirigiremos hacia el Volcán Thunupa, donde podremos observar las Momias de Coquesa.

12:00 Box lunch.

13:00 Libre por los alrededores o descanso en el Hotel de la Red Tayka. *Pueden visitar la comunidad, y los cultivos de Quinua.

15:00 Ascenderemos hasta el mirador del volcán Thunupa en el coche hasta cierto lugar y desde ahí comenzaremos un trekking hasta el mirador principal cerca de su cráter para contemplar la majestuosidad del salar en todo su esplendor. Esperaremos la mejor luz para hacer fotografías de paisaje emblemáticas, donde la luz del atardecer se encienda como fuegos artificiales sobre el salar y las montañas.

18:30 Libre por los alrededores (descanso Hotel de la Red Tayka)
* Pueden aprovechar de hacer fotografía del ocaso por los alrededores.

20:00 Cena / reunión para ver las imágenes y resolver dudas sobre técnica y composición.

21:30 Pernocte en el Hotel de Sal de la Red Tayka, con baños privados, agua caliente y calefacción ambiental. (A, C).

Día 3. Nos dirigimos hacia el Desierto de Siloli

6:00 Fotografiaremos el salar justo al amanecer.

7:30 Desayuno.

8:30 Partimos hacia la parte sur donde se encuentran las lagunas Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, Honda y Ramadita, donde fotografiaremos flamencos volando delante de nosotros que pintan el paisaje contrastado con los colores provenientes del bórax y azufre de estas extrañas lagunas. Otras aves, como gaviotas y gansos andinos acompañan a los flamencos en estas lagunas y los raros.

11:30 A la orilla de una de las lagunas tendremos un almuerzo campestre/charla fotográfica.

12:30 Continuamos nuestro viaje por medio zonas desérticas rumbo al Desierto de Siloli.

16:00 Caminaremos hasta encontrar una buena perspectiva por el desierto de Siloli y sus de piedras de magma petrificadas, para poder entender este precioso paisaje surrealista. Buscaremos que las rocas proyecten su sombra y sus texturas se acentúen con la uniformidad de la llanura.

18:30 Libre por los alrededores (descanso Hotel de la Red Tayka).

20:00 Cena / reunión para ver las imágenes y resolver dudas sobre técnica y composición.

21:30 Pernocte en el Hotel Desierto de la Red Tayka, con baños privados, agua caliente y calefacción ambiental. (A, C).

Día 4. Recorremos al Reserva Eduardo Avaroa

5:00 Desayuno.

5:30 Saldremos en busca de los conocidos Géiseres de Sol de Mañana.

7:00 Arribaremos a Géiseres al Amanecer con los primeros rayos de luz. Podremos fotografiar las fumarolas y pozas donde parece hervir la tierra en barros rojizos, grisáceos y escarlatas que podrán ser recorridas en sus mismas orillas.

8:00 Recorreremos el desierto y salar de Chalviri, otro escenario de gran valor paisajístico que combina el blanco de la nieve, el ocre del desierto, el azul del agua y el blanco del bórax. Al alejarnos otra gran extensión desértica nos aparece en el horizonte, maestra del viento y los picos andinos con detalles perfectos en formas y colores, de rocas que han resistido al viento.

9:00 Fotografiaremos la Laguna Verde, al pie del Volcán Licancabur. Llegaremos a esta laguna justo a tiempo para ver como sus aguas pasan del color esmeralda a un verde más opaco.

12:00 Retornando nos detendremos a almorzar en la Laguna Colorada, centro principal de anidación de las tres especies de flamencos y cuyas algas y plancton activados por la radiación solar y el viento dan color rosa tanto a la laguna como a las patas y parte del plumaje de estas exóticas aves.

12:00 Almuerzo.

17:00 Termináremos nuestro último día de aventuras fotográficas en la isla del pescado, podremos crear imágenes abstractas con los cactus y la puesta del sol, podremos crear artísticas imágenes con estas plantas, luego del ocaso fotografiaremos los cactus y las estrellas con largas exposiciones.

19:00 Retorno a la ciudad de Uyuni.

21:00 Cena /tertulia.

22:30 Pernocte en el Hotel Samay Wasi.

Día 5. Fin del viaje

7:00 Desayuno/charla.

8:00 Fin del viaje. * Los participantes deber alistarse para el viaje a La Paz, los otros participantes que no van en las movilidades tienen libre hasta la hora de vuelo o salida de bus rumbo a su ciudad de origen.

9:00 Retorno de las movilidades a la ciudad de La Paz.

19:00 Llegamos a la ciudad de La Paz, fin del servicio.

EQUIPAJE

La ruta del salar es muy fría y ventosa, con una alta radiación solar. Por el día generalmente hace mucho sol y la temperatura es agradable aunque un poco ventosa, por esto se recomienda llevar:

• Ropa abrigada y gruesa

• Guantes

• Calcetines de lana

• Gorro de lana

• Botas

• Bolsa de dormir

• Toalla

• Traje de Baño

• Humectante para labios

• Protector solar factor 30+ (o el que usen generalmente)

• Lentes de sol con filtro UV

• Linterna

• Recomendable llevar un impermeable

• Una copia de su pasaporte y/o cédula de identidad

CONSEJOS A EXTRANJEROS Y PERSONAS QUE SE NOS UNIRAN DIRECTAMENTE EN UYUNI PROVENIENTES DEL EXTRANJERO O INTERIOR DEL PAÍS

Formalidades: pasaporte en regla con un mínimo de 6 meses de vigencia (ciudadanos miembros de la comunidad andina y Mercosur pueden ingresar con cédula de identidad).

Transporte aéreo: En caso de que la compañía aérea modifique el itinerario en el aeropuerto de embarque o durante el viaje, no podemos asumir responsabilidades a terceros.

Clima: el tiempo de verano es agradable y con algunas lluvias. La temporada de verano en Uyuni va de 21 de diciembre al 21 de marzo, con una máxima promedio de 18,3 C (64,7 F) y una baja promedio de 5 ° C (41 F).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

TOUR DATE
From 17 to 21 April 2014.

Day 1. Arrival in Uyuni
Coaches will depart from the city of La Paz towards Uyuni where we will stop to photograph the different highland landscapes. In the late afternoon we reach the town of Uyuni, where we meet with other participants to meet and complete travel arrangements. Sharing documentation and photographic talk. Overnight and dinner at Samay Wasi Hotel.

* Participants arriving by air or land from other cities can take the afternoon to wander around Uyuni or relax at Samay Wasi Hotel.

Day 2. Salar de Uyuni
5:00 Before sunrise we leave to the Salar de Uyuni by Colchani, where we photograph the amounts of salt stacked by the inhabitants. Day 3. Siloli Desert
6:00 Photograph the Salar just at the sunrise.

7:30 Breakfast.

8:30 We leave to southern until Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, Honda and Ramadita lagoons where we will photograph the flamingos that paint an incredible landscape, contrasted with the colors from borax and sulfur of these strange lagoons. And other birds such as Garuma gulls and Andean geeses.

11:30 At the edge of one of the lagoons we will have a picnic lunch and photographic talk.

12:30 We continue our journey through heading to the desert areas Siloli Desert. 16:00 We will walk through the Siloli desert to find a good perspective of Dali Rocks to understand this beautiful surreal landscape. 18:30 Free time (rest at Tayka Hotel).

Day 4. Eduardo Avaroa Natural Park
5:00 Breakfast.

5:30 We will go in search of known geysers of Sol de Mañana.

7:00 Arrive at geysers at sunrise with the first rays of light. We will photograph the fumaroles and pools where the land seems to boil in red, gray and scarlet mud.

8:00 Tour around the Chalviri desert and salt desert, it’s another scenario with an amazing landscape that combines white snow, ocher desert, blue water and white borax.

9:00 We will photograph the Green Lagoon at the foot of Lincancabur Volcano. We will arrive at this lagoon just in time to see how its water passes from emerald to a duller green.

12:00 In our way to Uyuni, we will stop for lunch at the Colorada Lagoon, the main nesting center for three flamingo species. The algae and plankton that are in this lagoon, activated by solar radiation and wind, give pink color to the legs and plumage of these exotic birds.

12:00 Lunch.

17:00 We will finish our last day of photographic adventures on the Fish Island. We can create abstract images with cactus and sunset. After sunset we will photograph the cactus and stars with long exposures.

19:00 Return to Uyuni.

21:00 Dinner / gathering.

22:30 Overnight at Samay Wasi Hotel.

Day 5. Farewell

7:00 Breakfast / chat.

8:00 End of the adventure.
